Ford 4R100 Extreme Tow - Kit 1999-2003
The Extreme Tow Package features the ultimate high load calibration parts for the E4OD and 4R100 transmission. With the SCD dual load center support the load is now shared with an added bronze support bushing. This keeps the intermediate shaft from point loading the center support bearing. The TransGo Tugger kit doubles low and reverse clutch pressure in manual low for downhill hauling, high speed pull-in to 1st and the high demands of an exhaust brake. It has increased cooling/lubrication, improved converter feed and torque converter holding capacity. The cooler is also upgraded to 391 sq. in This is more than double OEM cooler.
