In the past, Sun Coast Converters, Inc. had largely depended on outside race teams for extreme product testing, and we will continue to support outside racers and enthusiasts through limited sponsorships. In June of 2010, with the support of Ron’s new partner Joe Penn, Sun Coast Converters, Inc. started a new “endeavor”. We committed our resources to do more product testing through a new division, SunCoast Performance. This ”performance and racing” division puts us at the races and events that our customers and dealers love to attend. We look forward to seeing you at the tracks, sled pulls, and dyno events. You are invited to stop by the booth and see some of our new products, or just come by to talk about diesel trucks, that is what we live for!! Just remember our motto “What can Sun Coast do for you?” We are committed to our customers 110%.
SunCoast Performance and Ron Wolverton are launching it’s 2007.5 6.7L Dodge race truck named “Endeavor” in 2011. “Endeavor” will compete on a limited basis in 2011. This truck is the perfect test vehicle for our full line of Dodge transmissions, as we have the ability to run any transmission, from the 47RH to the 68RFE in the truck. Dallas Penn is also building a truck for 2011. It’s a 2007 Duramax LBZ regular cab, long bed 4×4. He will be competing in the NHRDA Super Sreet class and in some of the “Outlaw” events.
Just to be fair, we’re also working on a 2008 Ford F250. This truck will be at the shows and will compete in some of the bracket races, sled pulls, and dyno events.
