The Sun Coast Allison LCT 1000 transmission combines the intelligent design of the Allison 1000 series transmission with innovative modifications developed by Sun Coast to offer you a power delivery platform with unparalleled torque capacity and dependability. With the tremendous power and torque capacity increases accomplished with aftermarket products and increasingly larger towing demands, Sun Coast teamed with ALTO® and TRANSGO® to engineer and deliver the technology, data, and parts to enable the Allison 1000 to handle power levels in excess of 800 RWHP and 1400 ft.-Ibs.

The Sun Coast Allison retains the Allison's adaptive learning to deliver smooth and consistent power delivery from off idle to constant changing throttle positions required with today's diesel trucks.

Starting with the patented trim valves by TRANSGO®, hydraulic modifications in the control valve body and pump circuit, include custom control valves to deliver higher clamping force,faster shift cycle, and increased cooler flow for increased longevity and performance.

In teaming with ALTO®, Sun Coast has brought to market superior wet clutch designs for the Allison 1000 series.

The Sun Coast Allison transmission assembly features our custom designed clutch packs with increased clutch count, utilizing Alto high energy frictions, Kolene steels, and custom apply plates. Pressure control is matched with driver demanded torque increases.

This results in a 300% torque capacity, increased lube and cooler flow, while retaining smooth, positive shifts. Each Sun Coast Allison transmission is assembled to our exacting specifications.

When coupled with our billet cover, triple disc torque converter, that delivers more than 3 times the capacity of the factory converter, the Sun Coast Allison transmission assembly is backed with a 2 year warranty with no limits on mileage, power input, or use.
