Mag-Hytec pan has a magnetic drain plug. Cast in A356-T6 aluminum, powder coated with machined cooling fins, magnetic drain plugs, temp. sender port, and stainless steel hardware, it sets your vehicle apart in aesthetics and function.The result is a finished part that actually increases the torsional strength of the transmission case and a gasket surface that remains flat far better than stock parts. On deep or extra-capacity pans, extra oil provides cooling for the transmission under stressful conditions. Heat build-up causes oil to lose its lubricating properties which leads to increased wear on the clutches, bands, and seals. The end result is costly premature rebuilds and lost time. Our pans feature raised cooling fins in addition to the increased fluid capacity to reduce oil temperatures.
