We will deliver a superior transmission that will put the power and torque of your diesel to the ground, with durability and drive ability.

Sun Coast History

The establishment of Sun Coast Converters in 1989 was in answer to the demand for a quality after-market torque converter. The company was founded on the premise that quality in manufacturing, durability, and performance was the only consideration in torque converter production. By responding to a market that demanded a superior product, Sun Coast has enjoyed continuous growth and success since it’s begining. With the introduction of light duty diesel trucks in the early 90′s, Sun Coast responded to the increasing demands for torque converters and transmissions that would enhance the performance and durability of light duty diesel trucks. Production began in limited capacity and as reputation and demand grew, so has the company. Starting with 2 guys and 2500 sq. ft, Sun Coast has grown to over 20 employees and over 20,000 sq. ft. The company has grown 10 fold but our goals have remained unchanged

Sun Coast Fact

Sun Coast is known through out the transmission world for our top of the line torque converters, because we have taken the time to listen, learn, research and respond to our customers suggestions with outstanding results. We will continue to make our converters and transmissions the best there is, while researching new technologies that shine a brand new light on the industry. Like our billet steel converters, larger clutches, lower stall, higher torque, torque converters that we designed, engineered and tested. Design copying is very easy… Innovations however, can be a bit harder. Thanks for listening
